umarex elite force g36cv reviewThe G36 has been an airsoft standby for many years. Sadly  they have all looked the same and if you saw one you saw  them all! That is until the new Umarex Elite Force G36CV electric blowback airsoft gun. The Umarex G36CV takes styling and performance to a new level. Keep reading the Umarex G36CV review below to learn more!

Shooting Performance of The Umarex G36CV

The Umarex Elite Force G36CV in stock form shoots a blistering 400 FPS out of the box and can hit a man sized target 150 feet away easily. The rate of fire with a 9.6 volt NiMh battery is about 12 RPS. A little slower then normal but the electric blowback does slow it down a bit.

The G36CV Styling Is awesome!

The Umarex G36CV is the first G36 variant to be offered in desert tan. This will help you stand out from the normal airsoft crowd! Umarex also ditched the standard skeleton stock and instead included the KV style stock. This gives the gun a tough look and the black accents finish the look off nicely.

Cool Features Of The Elite Force G36CV

Not only is the performance and styling a cut above the rest of the crowd but the Elite Force G36CV offers a few cool features that are not found on any other G36 variant on the market.

First the Umarex G36CV is fully trademarked and licensed by H&K. The H&K trademarks on the gun give the Umarex G36CV that extra bit of realism and detail that add to the wow factor.

Secondly the Umarex G36CV also has a quick change spring system that allows you to change the spring with out taking the gearbox apart. You just have to remove the lower receiver and remove to set screws and you can slide the old spring out and install a new one. It takes literally 5 minutes to change a spring!

And lastly the electric blowback function on this gun really adds not only to the realistic look of the gun when fired but also the feel. It offers a noticeable kick when the trigger is pulled, this is currently the only electric blowback G36 airsoft gun on the market

Negatives Of The Umarex G36CV

While the above review covers the positive aspect of the gun there are a few negatives that go along with the Umarex G36CV.They are not huge negatives but minor ones however they are still worth mentioning.

The first negative is that there is no battery or charger included with the G36CV.You will have to purchase these items separately which will add to the cost of the gun. While this is minor it must be noted.

Another negative of the Umarex G36CV is the gun is front wired to the normal G36 battery placement. This makes it a tight fit, it makes no sense why Umarex did not wire it to the rear considering the large KV style stock!

And finally the electric blowback system does tend to decrease battery life and slow the rate of fire by about 1-2 RPS. It does add to the realism but at the cost of performance. The good news is that the blowback system is easy to disable if you want to bump the RPS up a bit!
